I've Became Pickpocket Victim

Yesterday really an unfortunate day for me. I had pickpocketing incident when I traveled back from Yogyakarta City by public transportation (city bus *it's not Trans Jogja, anyway). Okee...maybe some of you had these experience too, but for me it was quite unbelievable, because it was the third time I've been a victim of pickpocketing in Yogyakarta city bus. *sounds pretty stupid, right?!*

Moreover in the first time incident, I've been pushed down from the bus (when bus still run), could you imagine that? I've got pain and lost my property.

Really, for you who like traveling, I remind you to always be careful with your baggage if you don't want to have same incident. I admit it, Yogyakarta city bus more hazardous than Surabaya or Malang city bus.
Beware, if you travel by Jogja city bus on route number 4, 15, 2, and 7!

Hijab Tutorial: Braid Style and Triangle Style (formal event)

Assalamualaikum..

Hello world! I wanna share to you some tutorial hijab again. This is simple actually. We only use one hijab (either shawl or paris drapery).
I've tried it, and it's easy anyway. Keep follow every detail step :)

For you, Indonesian girls, it can be applied along with kebaya at formal events.

  1. Braid Pashmina/Shawl Style

To apply this style, you must prepare:
  • inner ninja,
  • pashmina / shawl,
  • and of course, pins and brooches

     2.  Triangle Paris Style

To apply this style, you must prepare:
  • inner ninja,
  • hijab paris drapery,
  • and also the pins and brooch

I choose and filter out these tutorials from the many available tutorials on youtube, and I choose these to match my own style. Try it! ;)

Note: The most important step is you must prepare inner ninja with the strings behind. Do not taking inner ninja with its zipper behind.

What To Wear: Jumpsuit for Daily?

I love to style outfits around statement pieces i.e. shoes, tops or bottoms.
Deciding what to wear on a daily basis depends on my mood and of course, and the weather. But for these jumpsuits, I give the thumbs!

I love the jumpsuit, trendy!

Adorable dark!

For cute style, choose cheerful colors :)

Nude colors also cute.

Floral pattern for your sunny day.

If you want to blend it with the hijab, you don't need to worry, girls... Just wear your inner *(Indonesian people call it manset...or cuff wear in english??? I really don't know what better name than this -___- ) and your hijab. Choose the match colors with your jumpsuit.

Review: Daily Make Up

Hello lovely, I wanna share to ya all about my make-up equipment which I use daily. Here there go........
Due I'm simple, doesn't mean that I don't pay attention for detail. I like something simple but classy.

So, here's my make up choice... :)
  • Maybelline BBStick Clear + Smooth
BB creams combine skincare + makeup in 1 simple step 8-in-1 Skin Perfector:
• Blurs imperfections
• Brightens
• Evens skin tone
• Smoothes
• Hydrates
• Enhances
• Protects with SPF 30
• 0% oils and heavy ingredients
It's not because I am a fan of Korean-make up style, but BB creams has many benefit for our skin, besides, it's simple to use and to bring of course :p

Check this video out if you doubt about BB cream... Only 1 minutes! It suits for your daily use, you don't need to fear your hurry-time too :D

  • Maybelline Clear Smooth Extra Shine Free Powder Foundation SPF 20 PA+++
I used it over my BB creram, I didn't really planning on getting this one. I know it's really popular but somehow it hasn't reached my radar yet. The packaging looks cheap indeed, but it's super slim! And suits to bring on your slim bag anyway :D

    The content claims:
Long lasting oil control, matte finish all day
    High coverage
    UV Protection SPF 20
    Fragrance Free
    Oil Free
    Non-comedogenic
    Won't clog pores
    Suitable for sensitive skin
    Non irritation formula
5 shades, specially developed for Asian skin tones.
I still find 5 shades too few though.

There are powders designed for your skin type.. and the key is in your way in finding the right one. If you are confused, you better ask the sales lady because some of them are really trained for that.

    • Mascara Hyper Curl Volume Express Maybelline (Waterproof)
I choose this one because it's simple, it's affordable and it works really well.:D All items that affordable doesn't mean cheapy. It depends on how we choose, suits or not suits with us, and convenient or not.

     The good news:
    - Very affordable! php250 (less than $5.00)
    - Nice packaging
    -It doesn't clump & smudge
-Two coats will give you natural looking long and thick lashes.
-holds the curl for 5-6 hours (it doesn't feel heavy!)
-the formula is not too wet nor too dry.
    -stays for a long time

Even it's waterproof, you don't need to worry to remove it. I use baby oil to remove the mascara and to condition my lashes as well. :)

    • Mustika Ratu Paras Swarnanindya Lipstick (Merah Hati)

Ding-a-ling! I have to say that I love this colors. Though it packaging is rather big and fat, I found the colors is so nice. I found it good enough, because I think the "merah-hati" colors (please I don't even know the better name in english, seriously, they should be more creative than this..Red Heart? Omagawd!) able to give my face more brightness and a whiter complexion – well, I believe so.. The price for the lipstick is Rp30,000. A-ha! A big applause for the lipstick! ;p

The Claims:
  • Made from natural ingredients that don't cause side effects
  • Gives color to lips that look more dazzling and more gorgeous.
  • There are 11 standard colors: Pink, Red Heart, Red Chilli, Betel Red, Red Wine, Morning Fog, Clear Cloudy, Cloudy dashed, Lip Care, Puspa Amber Swarna, Swarna Puspa Soka.
How to use: Select the color as you wish, use a brush or directly applied to the lips. :)

  • Silkygirl Double Intense Gel Eyeliner
It's creamy gel type of eyeliner that ensures easy and precise application, even for the beginners, trust me :)
I love the packaging, it comes with smart packaging where the eyeliner brush is neatly attached to the casing. So, you don't have to worry about losing the brush.
And its only Rp 58..000 :D
  •  Oxygen Spray Mustika Ratu
And last,  I suggest this one for your basic make up. The oxygen complex and the green tea is able to give freshness to your skin. Just spray in your face sufficiently.

That's few cosmetic products which I review for you. Basically, choose cosmetic that suits your skin. :)

A Song That Suits My Mood Today

Tiba saat mengerti, jerit suara hati
Yang letih meski mencoba
Melabuhkan rasa yang ada

Mohon tinggal sejenak, lupakanlah waktu
Temani air mataku, teteskan lara
Merajut asa, menjalin mimpi, endapkan sepi-sepi

Cinta 'kan membawamu
kembali disini, menuai rindu
Membasuh perih
Bawa serta dirimu, dirimu yang dulu
Mencintaiku apa adanya

Saat dusta mengalir, jujurkanlah hati
Genangkan batin jiwamu, genangkan cinta
Seperti dulu, saat bersama, tak ada keraguan
(A Song by Dewa 19)

Matchmaking? ''(-_____-)'' Ok, Bye!

"X is a businessman's son, he is good man, religious, and blah blah ... sometime I'll introduce you to him. Who knows you both have affinity and chemistry"

BOOOM!!! In what year is this? I'm feeling oh-so-lost! *help help -___________-

It's such a phrase I've often heard, lately............(not from my parents anyway, it's from my uncles with-or my aunts.) Yea.. I'm bored. Too bored instead. Why do people still have ambitions to match me (or my cousin of course) with someone else? The classic answer: Bibit, Bebet, Bobot.

Bibit, Bebet, Bobot means the parameters of javanese tradition of matchmaking based on:
  • Bibit (Who is he/she, and Who is his/her parents/family);
  • Bebet (the economy factor and the personality);
  • and Bobot (the qualities of religion, education, handsome / beauty, etc..)
Due to my family (based on the Javanese tradition) *(read: story about me Part 1- 6 ), then all of that was ABSOLUTE. The matter you are happy or not happy, that the umpteen numbers of law of the jungle. Wassalam.

Determine: Friend or Foe ?

.....We used to love one another,
Give to each other,
Lie under covers so,
Are you friend or foe ?

That's a piece of lyric Friend or Foe by TATU.

Sometimes in life, there are no fully people who like us. There are some parts that don't like us. It's normal. Everything happen by reasons. Both like or dislike. Even when we think someone as a friend, she/he may not necessarily able to be trusted as a friend

They talk about you behind without you realize that, why or what. Even possible, they are also preparing evil-plans to bring you down from your position. Even The Prophet Salallahu'alaihi Wassalam is inseparable from those who envy and hate him, moreover us.

So, if you don't want to get hurt, you should determine who is friend and who is foe... It doesn't mean we prejudiced someone before. Just to keep you more sensitive on people around you.

OMG! I really love that look~sooo simply casual!!!

What To Wear: Playful Outfit Formal / Non Formal

Glam Red Lips

I love red. I love the luxurious red. I love the luxurious and elegant red stuff. Classic but still unpretentious. (In my dictionary, the mean of unpretentious is not same with simple). I love to keep unpretentious but look glamorous.

As well as lipstick colors choice. I prefer choose the glam red lipstick. Red lips are the quintessential sexy look, but to get that look "appropriately", you should take a "little know-how".

Whether you're just in the mood to have fun with your look, or you're going to a formal event, red lips are often the best choice. Here's how to make sure they're a well applied choice too. Check this out! :)

  1. Select the RED lipstick. (of course...) However, it is important to try different shades of red to find the one that suits you best.
  2. Slightly moisturize your lips by adding a little lip balm. Choose the right ones for your lip.
  3. Add lip liner to make your lip look fuller. The lip liner must be similar to the red shade of lipstick you're going to use (or use a nude color). And line your lips carefully.
  4. Apply your red lipstick.
  5. To make your lips redder and fuller, get a small brush and use your foundation to apply around your lips. *just tips
  6. Don't forget to check the smears on your teeth (if you don't want to be embarrassed later :p). *just tips

 FINISH!

*Note: Red lipstick looks best with a flawless complexion and dramatic (but not overpowering) eye makeup. Remember, heavy use of make-up defines you as a type. Be sure you want to be defined as that type before you use it! :)

Am I With The Right Partner?

During the conversation, my cousin asked me: " Am I with the right person? What do you think?"
I knew, everyone must have a bit and bop about it.
I didn't know how to answer. I mean, myself sometimes asked the same thing. It was natural cycle to every relationship. Falling in love was completely natural and spontaneous, right? That's why it's called "falling". You know, it was like you fell because the gravity. You couldn't handle it.

Back to the question,

When they fell in love, people would see the beauty in their partner. Everything seems happy. But after a few months or years of being together, the euphoria of love fades. The quarrels, both small or large would make someone become more hesitant. At this point, you and/or your partner might start asking, "Am I with the right person?" You may begin to desire that experience with someone else. It was normally occurs in every couples.

I was often advise others, my besties, like this: The key to succeeding in a relationship is not finding the right person, it's learning to love the person you found. (Even though myself not yet able to do that.) *noted

Sometimes, when people talked about affairs, I think affairs was the most common. People blame their partners for their unhappiness and look outside for fulfillment. But then, the answer to this dillema was lies within it.

Then I thought it twice...if I try to find someone else as my partner, I'd be in the same situation a few years later...and I would get at this point again. See?

Love was not passive spontaneous feelings. It was specific things. It takes time, effort, and energy. And most importantly, wisdom. You have to know WHAT TO DO to make it work. Make no mistake about it.

And remember this...Love was a decision, it was not just a feeling. God determined who walked into our life. It was up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go..

-regards-
