Practicing And Learning New Thing at Work

It was super busy week, I've been kinda busy with my tenders schedule. Like what I've told you before, this is a new field of work for me. I did not expect that to lead the auction process would be as complicated as this (specially when dealing with government bureaucracy) .Hahaha.
Anyway, when I worked as a fashion designer assistant, the sense of fatigue was also greater than this. I worked almost a full week. I've worked in 'numb' feeling as if there were no Sunday in your week dictionary of life. Really. Whether that's good or bad? Good if it is worth with the compensation you receive. Bad if you are only enslaved by work and don't have time to relieve pressure of work (at least a day in week). From the beginning, I didn't understand how to measure and then I learned. I didn't understand about design, then I finally charged with creativity. In fashion work, it required me to understand and memorize the materials fabric, zipper, thread, buttons, sequins, embroidery, printing, etc. I was also have to understand the quality of stitching. I had to learn a new fashion trend that always turns. I also observed characteristic of famous designers from abroad and within the country. However,  I did it all with passion because I love fashion world! So whatever felt tired, it was still fun.

Whereas now, this is really a new field that I learned. I am facing what so called the 'economy' field which do require me to understand and familiar with economic terms, I have much to learn. Bad news, I am stressful to follow all steps of my work. Good news, I don't have to work a full week. The things I learned was not in vain, the company that I represent won fairly large tender project this year. I won my very first tender! Omg! Cheers, though starting next Wednesday will be a busy day-to-day for me *sigh* But the numbers I will accept is certainly comparable to the work that I do.
God bless us!

Turkish Hijab Style

Hi, assalamu'alaikum, ladies!

Today I want to share about hijab style that I used to wear. For me personally, you can see me as a simply woman from my hijab style. Really, I am not a person who wear too much, means I prefer to wear hijab and outfit that suit in me and comfy to wear. Just it is.

Recently, I often wear simple style for my hijab, you can see on my pictures that I've posted before. There was no special tips I could give you, but now, I can share you what style I used to wear. Yup, it's named Turkish style!

I prefer to wear Turkish style beside its comfy, it also simply to apply. Here's I give you some examples so you can think over if you are interest to apply it.

But please, just please read this before you judge or whatever:
"If you do not get along and uncomfortable to wear or you feel it doesn't fit with your style/your principle, better you should not adopt it."

Because I like to wear skirts, so I often combine my simply look just like this.

If you have four square scarf/hijab made from silk/nylon, you can wear it like this style. Just pin it or strap in the middle.

If you have paris drapery four square hijab, you can apply this style too.

I love this look!

Okay, how is it?
If you feel it is not syar'i, then I recommend: DO NOT WEAR.

Now, just for you who feel compelled to try this Turkish style, here's following that you can practice at home. Check this out!

Hope it can help you guys!

Salam!

Tipe-Tipe Wanita Kalau Nongkrong Bareng

Nah, kebetulan ketika kami sedang mengobrol, salah seorang teman melempar topik tentang make up. Secara otomatis akan ditanggapi oleh yang lain. Okay, before I go to continue tell you what happen next, shall we discuss about some types of women when they have a talk one to another in a group? Here I divide it to some part:

1. Loudmouth or Magpie Type
Those who usually throw narcissistic topic, they boast about their own branded goods (even though it's KW super as long as in order to be considered as the hits women). They have no identity, because almost all that they show in front of friends is a fake identity. They follow the latest trend although it's not in accordance with their own. Well.... Do you?

2. The Comparators Type
Those who normally do not accept if The Loudmouth seen as the most hits position, they will seek another topics to make themselves equal, even if they should to argue with the loudmouth. Of course, also by showing off their possessions.

3. Listeners Type
Those who are lazy to hear nonsense. Or maybe they are not critical enough to know that it is a hoax or not. They are cheerleaders party here.

4. The Real Divas Type.
Those who are classy enough to talk. They know when they have to talk, when to comment, when to ask. People in this type actually had an experience that is far from three groups before, they tend to be passive to boast about themselves. Meskipun mereka diam, tapi mereka bukan sebatas diam mendengarkan.

Then, ini cerita saya....
Jadi, ada salah satu di antara kami yang tiba-tiba melempar pembahasan mengenai make up. Awalnya saya hanya diam mendengarkan.
X: Eh, Y Shay, aku kemarin sudah sempat keliling nyari pesenan kamu tapi belum dapat. Maaf yah?
Y: Oke, Shay. Beneran ya. Galau nih kalau nggak pake itu.
Z: Eh, emang kalian mau nyari apa sih?
X: Itu, Shay. Nyari titipan si Y, biasa... make up. Agak mahal sih, jadi nggak sembarang toko ada.
Z: Oh gitu, emang kamu nyari make up apa sih?
Y: Aku pakenya foundie Ultima, Shay... Nggak bisa selain itu.
W: Oh Ultima, itu kan mahal, Shay...
V: Wah, kamu pakenya Ultima ya? Ckckck...
Z: Kenapa nggak MAC aja sekalian? Buat ke kondangan kan? Aku biasa sih MAC.

Well, rasanya pingin menjauh aja deh dari situ. Melipir kemanaa gitu, as I can. Nah hlo!
Y: Kalau kamu pake merek apa, Shay, biasanya?
Me: Biasa kok Neng, jarang pakai foundie kalau nggak emergency.
Y: Bedak? Tabur? Padat?
Me: Jarang pakai bedak juga kalau nggak penting.
W: Emang kamu pakai Maybelline?
Z: Aku pake sunscreen Wardah, lumayan cocok buat kulitku.
X: Wardah buatku nggak cocok sama sekali, jadi panas gimana gitu. Ya mending Maybelline lah.
Y: Jadi, kamu pakai apa, Shay?
(back to me....everyone was staring at me....)
Me: Viva, yang seribu lima ratusan itu hlo.
Y: Viva? Bohong!
Ih...
(what the means of sound "ih"...?)
Z: Viva harganya dulu seribuan, kemasan sachet. Dipakenya sama embah-embah kampung.
W: Hahaha, kamu kayak embah-embah dong, Shay?
(Gue langsung mengernyitkan dahi) -___-"
(Girls, please....)
Me: Kamu tadi bilang nyari apa? Foundie Ultima? Kemana?
X: Iya, adanya sih di A*ra atau Matah*ri.
Me: Ngapain jauh-jauh? Tu di S*nar juga ada.
Y: S*nar? Mana tuh?
Me: Itu tengah kota.
Me: Ya kamu cari aja coba.
Y: Emang kamu pernah pake Ultima? Harga bedak taburnya aja mahal hlo, di atas dua ratus.
Me: Ya coba aja kalian ke sana. Produk Ultima mah di sana ada lengkap.
X: Ultima tuh susah ya carinya, kamu beli yang KW kali. Di sana emang resmi? Soalnya kan banyak barang KW kosmetik. Hati-hati hlo, Shay!
Me: ...........
Y: Iya, mending mah online, ntar COD-an
Z: Halah. COD-an juga sama mehongnya kalii.
Me: Dia kan sudah berlisensi, jelas agen resmi.
X: Ih, nggak ah. Abal-abal itu.
Me: .................

Oh come on Guys.....
Nanti malah mereka semakin menjadi-jadi.

Kuncinya: Biarin saja lah. Cukup tahu saja dalam hati dan senyumin :)

How To Choose Hijab Style That Suits You?

Now many hijabers who has created variety of hijab creations both paris drapery/square and pashmina. But sometimes, not all model fits you. Nowadays hijab has various types such like Paris, Turkish, Persian and Pashmina. Have you ever try it? Perhaps you will find lot of beautiful women out there who fit to wear many hijab styles. Begin from the simple one until the pile. It combined with clothes that begin from the Syar'i until the ludicrous one. There are some advice from me before you determine which one hijab that fits with your clothes:

1. Dress in decent and polite. But, be wise! DO NOT MIX belief with fashion. Fashion is fashion. And Syar'i is a must.

2. It is not only because you FOLLOW fashion that being TREND-somewhat, then you are forced to wear model whereas it's not suits you.

3. Do look its material too, whether it is appropriate and COMFORTABLE to wear or not.

4. Do not be afraid to look fashionable, but DO NOT OVERDO it. Dress in decent.

5. Mix your hijab color with clothes to look really fit. Do not too OVER CONFIDENT in using many colors. You will look more like "Ondhel-ondhel" than a "fashionista". Believe me. Because Islam teaches us to dress decently and not excessive.

6. Take care your face with water from Wudu (as always you pray/shalat 5 times a day) and use the right make-up.

7. Last, be proud with your hijab, but do not be arrogant, get respect from others with your manner and your look.
